Launch Lock
Launch Lock lets you decide who may buy a product, and from which calendar date. The product stays on the storefront. The cart and the checkout page block the order and show the message you write. The product page shows the same story: sign in, a disabled buy button, or the schedule you write.
The app opens from Shopify Admin → Apps → Launch Lock in a new browser tab at https://launch-lock.k2.digital/.
The Setup card after gating tags, metafield definitions, checkout enforcement, and customer sync are done. Theme steps stay as actions.

What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Purchase windows — each window names the customer tags that may buy, and the date it opens. It opens at midnight in your store’s time.
- Sign-in — you can require a customer to be signed in. A window for people without a matching tag is still only for signed-in customers. Someone who is not signed in cannot use it.
- Quantity and deadline — optional maximum and minimum per order, and an optional last day to buy.
- Product page — a block next to the buy button, and a schedule with the words you write.
- Checkout — the same rules run in the cart and at checkout. The product page explains the rules. Checkout is what stops the order.
